La Manga 2015
So these are the last of my photographs from Spain. La Manga, for those of you who don't know, is a strip of land in the south east of Spain separated from the main land by a body of water called the Mar Menor. As my parents own a holiday apartment on the strip this has been our main holiday destination for the past 10 years although we do enjoy taking a couple of days to explore more of the local area.

Journey: 2015 Summer project
My summer project from my uni tutors this year is to create a piece of work based on the concept of "Journey". The brief instructed us to "think out side the box" and so, in my attempt to think of an original idea and not just document a journey, I've spent a loooong time thinking about it and am just getting started possibly a little bit at the last minute.......
So anyway, instead of documenting an actual journey through time and space I am experimenting with photographing souvenir type objects that have been on a journey from somewhere in the world and ended up with us in England. In order to show where they have come from, I have placed them next there country of origin in the atlas.
These are just a few shots from my first shoot, at the moment I'm experimenting with composition.

A walk round Granada
The morning after the alhambra we spent some time wondering around the Granada, observing the sights of the city, before heading back to La Manga for the rest of our holiday. This was a great opportunity to do some street photography. I also took a few interior shots in the hotel.
